Accounting & Office Coordinator (Full-Time, In-Office)

High Point, NC

We are a custom architectural millwork manufacturer seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Accounting & Office Coordinator to support financial operations and daily office workflow.

This role is critical to maintaining accurate billing, organized financial processes, and consistent office coverage.

Schedule

  • Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Friday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
  • ~35 hours per week (hourly, non-exempt)

Key Responsibilities

  • Accounts Payable & Receivable (QuickBooks)
  • Support billing cycles (15th, 20th, 25th deadlines)
  • Compile billing documentation (including lien waivers)
  • Track receivables and follow up on outstanding invoices
  • Prepare vendor payments and maintain documentation
  • Assist with job setup, job costing, and production data entry
  • Maintain financial and operational records
  • Support inventory and work-in-progress tracking
  • Enter production-related reports and schedules
  • Answer phones, greet visitors, and support front office operations

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years accounting, bookkeeping, or office coordination experience
  • Strong understanding of A/P, A/R, and basic accounting
  • QuickBooks and Excel proficiency
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize effectively
  • Dependable and consistent work habits

Important Role Expectations

This position requires:

  • Consistent, in-office availability during work hours
  • Dependable presence to support time-sensitive workflows
  • Responsiveness to calls, emails, and daily operational needs
  • Ability to manage interruptions while maintaining accuracy

Preferred (Not Required)

  • Experience in construction, manufacturing, or millwork
  • Job costing or progress billing experience
  • ERP or production scheduling systems
  • Notary Public (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)

Compensation & Benefits

  • $24–$28/hour (based on experience)
