Accounting Officer/ Accountant

Job Purpose:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounting Officer to manage daily accounting operations and support the finance department. The ideal candidate should have practical experience in Saudi Arabia, good working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics, and strong organizational skills to ensure accurate financial records, timely invoicing, and proper reporting.

Key Accountabilities:

• Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate accounting records in Microsoft Dynamics.
• Prepare and issue customer invoices and follow up on collections.
• Perform bank, customer, and supplier reconciliations.
• Maintain proper filing and archiving of accounting documents.
• Prepare basic monthly and periodic financial reports.
• Prepare, review, and submit VAT returns and Zakat/Tax filings directly through ZATCA portals.
• Ensure full compliance with Saudi VAT, Zakat/Tax regulations, including proper documentation and audit readiness.
• Monitor tax deadlines and regulatory updates to avoid penalties and compliance risks.
• Act as the main point of contact with ZATCA, auditors, and external tax advisors.
• Assist in budgeting and cost tracking activities.
• Support the setup and daily maintenance of Microsoft Dynamics in coordination with management and external consultants.
• Maintain system master data and generate standard management reports.
• Provide accounting and financial support to management and other departments.

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience in Saudi Arabia.
• Experience in VAT filing, Zakat/Tax submissions, and dealing with ZATCA portals.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics ERP.
• Good command of Microsoft Excel and basic financial reporting tools.
• Good spoken and written English; Arabic is an advantage.
