The Helena office of Rudd & Company, a regional full-service accounting firm, is seeking a full time, bookkeeper/payroll associate with knowledge in payroll, bookkeeping and QuickBooks QB Desktop & QB online. An Accounting degree or accounting background is a plus. Candidate should be a self-starter, resourceful, motivated and have a positive disposition. Pay is based upon experience and includes health and retirement benefits. Rudd & Company is looking for driven individuals that enjoy being part of a team and can also work independently when needed.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Work with the Firm Partners and Managers to serve clients the highest quality of work.
-Process payroll and quarterly reporting through QuickBooks.
-Bank reconciliation.
-End of year reporting and 1099's.
- Review and verify source documents such as receipts, invoices, and data printouts.
- Posting and tracking financial transactions in ledgers.
- Assist in client satisfaction with timely deliverables.
- Communication (verbal and written forms) with clients, vendors, and industry contacts.
- Provide assistance and guidance in QuickBook software to bookkeepers and other client staff, as needed.
- Assurance of client confidentiality and privacy at all times.
- Other duties as assigned and needed.
This is a full-time position for year-round work. Opportunities to grow within the firm.
