Position Overview
The RV Park Accounting Coordinator is responsible for managing the park’s day-to-day accounting and administrative functions in support of the RV Park Manager and Assistant Manager. This position ensures accurate financial recordkeeping, timely processing of transactions, and efficient office operations for a large workforce RV park.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and professional, with strong organizational and communication skills. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the success of a high-volume operation while maintaining smooth financial and administrative processes.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Financial Administration
- Process daily transactions, including tenant payments, rent collections, deposits, and petty cash management.
- Maintain accurate ledgers, reconcile accounts, and prepare bank deposits.
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable — ensuring timely payment of vendors and accurate posting of invoices.
- Prepare financial summaries, occupancy reports, and month-end reconciliations for review by the Park Manager and company accounting team.
- Support budget tracking and expense monitoring to ensure alignment with operational goals.
Administrative Support
- Maintain organized digital and physical records for leases, resident files, vendor contracts, and maintenance logs.
- Assist in preparing correspondence, notices, and reports for residents and staff.
- Support the Park Manager and Assistant Manager with scheduling, purchasing coordination, and document preparation.
- Serve as the central communication point for administrative inquiries, coordinating with residents, staff, and vendors as needed.
Resident Accounts & Customer Service
- Provide residents with billing statements, process payments, and resolve account inquiries professionally.
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in handling sensitive financial and personal information.
- Support check-in/check-out accounting procedures and ensure balances are properly recorded.
Compliance & Reporting
- Assist in ensuring compliance with company financial policies and recordkeeping standards.
- Help prepare reports or documentation requested by management, auditors, or regulatory agencies.
- Monitor internal controls to protect company assets and prevent discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Experience in bookkeeping, accounting support, property management administration, or related role preferred.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and general accounting or property management software.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with residents, staff, and vendors.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or relevant coursework in accounting or business preferred.
Pay: From $45,000.00 per year
