Accounting Specialist

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist with QuickBooks Enterprise Desktop experience. This role engages directly in accounting functions, supporting daily accounting operations and financial processes within a dynamic export business. This is not a routine accounting role—we are looking for someone who enjoys problem-solving, improving processes, and thinking creatively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily accounting functions in QuickBooks Enterprise Desktop / Audit accounting transactions
  • Process customer invoicing and payments / Monitor and reconcile bank activity and transactions
  • Handle accounts payable and vendor payments / Manage accounts receivable and collections
  • Reconcile company credit card activity / Maintain organized financial records and documentation
  • Identify opportunities to improve accounting workflows and systems

Qualifications

  • Experience with QuickBooks Enterprise Desktop
  • Microsoft Suite experience: Outlook and Word required … Excel desirable
  • 2+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience minimum / accounting, finance or related degree preferred
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Operational proficiency navigating and managing online business and banking transactions
  • Strong attention to detail, documentation, and accurate data entry required
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Compensation

  • Salary Range: $40,000 – $50,000 annually
  • Compensation is flexible and based on experience and qualifications
