Accounting Specialist

This is an opportunity to join a growing, family-owned and operated business in a unique, niche industry. Our company provides accessibility lifts and small, specialty elevators for homes, places of worship, and commercial/public buildings. We are searching for a motivated & capable person to join our accounting & finance team in our Duluth, MN office.

This position entails the following responsibilities:

  • Answering phones
  • Processing customer payments
  • Billing & invoicing customers
  • Collections
  • Accounting data entry

Qualifications needed to excel at this opportunity:

  • Experience in accounts receivable
  • Excellent phone & email communication skills
  • Basic accounting knowledge (2-year or 4-year degree preferred)
  • Ability to learn our accounting system quickly, with instruction (experience with Microsoft NAV or Business Central helpful)
  • Determination to follow through on assigned tasks & look for opportunities to contribute to team success

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From $20.00 per hour

Experience: Bookkeeping: 1 year (Required)
