Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounting Specialist to manage day-to-day accounting operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is heavily focused on accounting functions and requires someone who can work independently, stay organized, and maintain a high level of accuracy.

The ideal candidate will have experience handling full-cycle accounting responsibilities, maintaining financial records, and supporting month-end processes. Additional administrative or HR-related responsibilities may be introduced over time based on business needs and candidate experience.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting Functions

• Manage full-cycle accounts payable, including invoice verification, coding, and payment processing
• Handle accounts receivable, customer invoicing, and payment tracking
• Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks and ERP software (Fulcrum preferred)
• Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Review and maintain general ledger activity and transaction accuracy
• Prepare internal financial reports and support management with financial data
• Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on overdue accounts
• Maintain organized accounting documentation and audit-ready records
• Identify discrepancies and resolve accounting issues in a timely manner
• Assist with payroll-related reporting and administrative accounting support as needed
• Support continuous improvement of accounting procedures and internal controls
• Maintain confidentiality with financial and employee information

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounting experience required
• Experience with QuickBooks required
• ERP system experience preferred (Fulcrum a plus)
• Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and general ledger functions
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Manufacturing or job shop experience is a plus
• Spanish fluency is a plus

Work Environment & Expectations

• Full-time, in-office position located in Ontario, CA
• Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Fast-paced manufacturing office environment
• Candidate must be dependable, proactive, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities accurately
