YOUR DAY-TO-DAY AS OUR ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST

This is a part-time, hybrid position based in San Jose, CA. The role is primarily remote, with a flexible schedule within standard business hours. You'll be expected to attend one weekly in-office meeting during business hours. Shift times may vary, but will always fall within the company's normal operating hours.

In this Accounting Specialist role, you'll work closely with the General Manager, serving as the financial pulse of the business. Your day might begin by reviewing accounts receivable and payable to ensure everything is accurate and up to date, then transitioning to maintaining our QuickBooks Online system with precision. You'll generate reports that help guide decision-making, analyze project costs to uncover insights, and handle essential data entry tasks. Throughout the day, you'll also support administrative efforts through assisting with payroll, including benefits coordination, insurance, and HR-related tasks, helping create a smooth and efficient operation from behind the scenes. Your work will directly impact how we grow, plan, and succeed as a company.

Here's what we need from you:

• Must have QuickBooks Online experience
• Minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping experience
• Must be able to attend a weekly in-office meeting

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with Microsoft Word/Excel
• Familiarity with HR functions or managing benefits such as 401(k)
