Accounting Specialist

Snell Motors is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Accounting Specialist. This position will provide accounting support throughout the dealership. An ideal candidate would have strong attention to detail, strong desire to succeed and demonstrate a high level of organization skills with the ability to work in a fast-pace setting. The preferred applicant will thrive in dynamic environments, have a passion for precision, and will possess excellent problem-solving skills.

Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Process invoices, ensuring correct coding to appropriate vendors, and accurately enter data into company systems.
• Perform expense analysis and manage payment approval processes.
• Follow up on outstanding accounts and resolve payment discrepancies.
• Maintain customer records and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounts receivable processes and adhere to all accounting policies.
• Assist the Controller with various financial analysis, reports, and general company accounting support.
• Be a representative of our core values, including our commitment to excellence and outstanding customer service.

Qualifications:

• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Minimum of 2 to 3 years' experience in Accounting or Banking.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel is a plus.
• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Great attitude and customer service oriented
• Experience in a professional office environment
• Demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
