About the Role

We're looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Accounting Support Specialist to join our in-house team. This is primarily a data entry and transaction processing role — most of your day will be working inside Buildium, our property management software, to keep invoices, payments, and owner records accurate and up to date.

You don't need to be a CPA. You need to be someone who catches their own mistakes, communicates clearly, and takes pride in doing things right.

What You'll Do Day to Day

• Enter and code vendor invoices accurately in Buildium
• Process payments via EFT and company credit card
• Post daily deposits and incoming payments
• Monitor the accounting email inbox and respond to routine vendor and owner inquiries
• Follow up on unpaid invoices
• Assist with owner contribution requests and basic AR tracking
• Support the accounting team with month-end tasks as directed

What We're Looking For

• Some prior bookkeeping, accounting, or data entry experience
• Strong attention to detail — accuracy matters more than speed
• Comfortable learning new software (Buildium experience is a plus, not a requirement)
• Professional written communication skills
• Clean background check required
