Position Overview We are seeking a qualified Accounting Tax Advisor to provide specialized tax compliance and advisory services on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for experienced tax professionals who prefer flexible engagement with opportunities to support strategic business decisions. The position requires expertise in UAE tax regulations, corporate tax obligations, and international tax considerations relevant to businesses operating in the Emirates. Key Responsibilities Review and interpret UAE tax legislation and regulatory updates affecting the business Prepare and review corporate tax returns and VAT filings with the UAE Federal Tax Authority Advise on tax-efficient structuring of business operations and transactions Ensure compliance with UAE Law No. 20 of 2018 (Corporate Income Tax Law) and related regulations Conduct tax risk assessments and identify optimization opportunities Liaise with tax authorities on compliance matters and audit responses Provide tax planning strategies for year-end considerations and future business decisions Monitor VAT-related transactions and ensure accurate input/output tax treatments Maintain detailed documentation and records to support tax positions and regulatory audits Required Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Minimum 5 years of professional tax accounting or advisory experience Demonstrated expertise in UAE corporate tax, VAT, and regulatory compliance Professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent) preferred Strong knowledge of UAE Federal Tax Authority requirements and filing procedures Proficiency with accounting software and tax compliance systems Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Desirable Skills & Experience Experience with international tax matters and transfer pricing considerations Knowledge of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) tax frameworks Prior experience in UAE-based tax or accounting consulting firms CAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist) or AML compliance background Experience with beneficial ownership verification and regulatory due diligence Familiarity with industries such as trading, manufacturing, or professional services Position Details Attribute Details Hours 2-5 hours per week (flexible scheduling) Location UAE (Dubai/Abu Dhabi) Employment Type Part-Time / Consultant Reporting To Finance Manager / Director What We Offer Competitive hourly or project-based remuneration Flexible working arrangement with minimal time commitment Opportunity to work on challenging tax and compliance matters Professional environment with exposure to strategic business decisions Potential for expanded engagement based on performance Remote or on-site flexibility (negotiable) Application Process Interested candidates should submit: Resume/CV highlighting relevant tax experience Cover letter explaining interest in the part-time role Copies of professional certifications (CPA, ACCA, etc.) References from previous employers or clients.
