In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that both the Internal Management and External Consolidated financial accounts for Dice are accurate, prepared in a timely manner and accurately reflect all business transactions. Manage all aspects of tax compliance, accounting operations, and financial reporting.

What you will be doing
As an Accounting & Taxation Manager, you will proactively oversee and manage all accounting functions within the organization, ensuring compliance with SNL’s established policies, procedures, and systems, as well as adherence to local statutory requirements and IGAAP standards. You will ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, tax compliance, and effective internal controls. You will lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Your role includes guiding team members in their professional development, supporting the successful implementation of training programs, and acting as a coach for new employees. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Indian tax laws, accounting principles, and financial regulations, combined with excellent leadership and organizational skills to drive efficiency and accuracy across all financial operations
Key responsibilities
Financial Transaction Processing, review and advise on the correct coding of invoices and creation of journal entries for local accounting managers, GSSC and Accountants.
Supervise end-to-end financial transaction processing, advising on correct invoice coding and journal entries for local teams and shared service centres.
Maintain integrity of general ledger balances and ensure balance sheet accuracy on a periodic and quarterly basis.
Guarantee direct and indirect tax compliance through timely filing of GST, TDS, Advance Tax, and Income Tax Returns.
Manage all statutory, legal, and tax filings in compliance with local regulatory and audit requirements. Lead statutory, tax, and GST audits—ensuring accurate, timely documentation and filings. Coordinate and prepare audit schedules for both internal and external audits, delivering a seamless audit process.
Provide expert guidance on transfer pricing and international tax matters to comply with regulations.
Prepare and review all management reports and financial statements (P&L, cash flows, budgets, forecasts, external trial balances) and support divisional leadership in the analysis for informed decision-making.
Strengthen and refine the internal control framework, driving process efficiency and compliance.
Administer Oracle accounting and reporting platforms aligned to business needs.
Assist with business unit mapping and support business technology projects as needed.
Qualifications
Preferably a bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A professional qualification such as Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or equivalent is highly preferred.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in tax management and accounting, preferably in a corporate accounting environment.
Strong knowledge of Indian tax laws, GST, TDS, and income tax provisions. Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, QuickBooks, Oracle eBS, Oracle Cloud) and Microsoft Excel are essential.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail.
The ability to meet deadlines, promote cost savings and make recommendations for system and process improvements.
Experienced in the use of accounting and consolidation software.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Capacity for critical thinking and problem-solving.
