Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Manager who is a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) to oversee our accounting operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with statutory regulations, managing audits, and supporting strategic decision-making through financial insights.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Accounting & Reporting
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with Indian GAAP / Ind AS.
Maintain general ledger and ensure timely reconciliation of accounts.
Ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions.
2. Statutory Compliance
Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, Income Tax returns, and other statutory requirements.
Liaise with regulatory bodies like the Income Tax Department, GST authorities, and ROC.
Stay updated with changes in tax laws and ensure company-wide compliance.
3. Audit Management
Coordinate with statutory auditors for annual audit and tax audit.
Ensure timely completion of audits with minimal queries.
Address internal audit findings and implement recommended controls.
4. Budgeting & Forecasting
Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
Analyse variances between actuals and budgets; provide commentary and insights.
5. Internal Controls
Implement and monitor effective internal financial controls.
Ensure all accounting processes and procedures comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
6. Team Management (if applicable)
Supervise junior accountants and finance executives.
Review work, provide training, and ensure timely completion of tasks.
7. Liaison & Coordination
Coordinate with banks, financial institutions, vendors, and internal departments.
Support finance team in funding activities and cash flow management.
Qualifications & Skills
Education: Chartered Accountant (CA), certified by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI)
Experience: 2 - 3 years of relevant experience in accounting/finance roles (post-qualification)
Strong knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS), Income Tax Act, GST laws, and Companies Act.
Proficient in Tally ERP, SAP, Oracle, or other accounting software.
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage deadlines and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Good leadership and team management abilities.
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary Hike: Competitive based on experience and performance.
ESOP: Available after 3 years, at management’s discretion
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per month
