Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts & Finance Officer to support the day-to-day financial operations of the company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily banking activities, including bank reconciliations for office and client accounts
- Process financial transactions, including postings for client and office accounts
- Manage purchase ledger activities and supplier payments
- Maintain and monitor supplier accounts to ensure timely payments and service continuity
- Assist with credit control and follow up on outstanding balances
- Support preparation of financial reports and annual accounts
- Prepare and submit VAT returns
- Handle Legal Aid Agency billing claims on a monthly basis
- Ensure compliance with Solicitors Accounts Rules and other regulatory requirements
- Identify process improvements and support problem-solving initiatives within the department
Requirements
- Previous experience in accounting, finance, or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and financial processes
- Familiarity with payroll, VAT, and banking procedures
- Good attention to detail and organisational skills
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Fresh graduates (Accounts and Finance) are encouraged to apply
Work Environment
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Bahria Town Phase 7.
