- Key Responsibilities:
- Accounts Responsibilities:
- Daily entries for purchase and sales transactions in the tally system.
- Record daily financial transactions and maintain ledgers.
- Prepare and verify invoices, vouchers, and purchase orders.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial documents.
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Maintain petty cash and ensure proper documentation of expenses.
- Support in audits by providing necessary financial data and records.
- Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and statutory regulations (GST, TDS, etc., if applicable).
Stores / Inventory Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate stock records for raw materials, consumables, and finished goods.
- Monitor stock levels and prepare reports on inventory usage.
- Coordinate with the procurement department for stock replenishment.
- Conduct periodic stock audits and physical verifications.
- Oversee goods receipt, storage, and dispatch processes.
- Ensure proper labelling, documentation, and safe storage of items.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in accounts and/or store management.
- Knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or ERP systems).
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.
- Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Good communication and coordination abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
