Job Title: Assistant Accountant

Department: Accounts & Finance

Reports To: HR & Admin Manager

Job Summary:

The Assistant Accountant will support the finance department in managing daily accounting tasks, maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and assisting with month-end and year-end reporting. The role requires attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work effectively under supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in day-to-day accounting operations such as journal entries, ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare and maintain records of all financial transactions, invoices, receipts, and payments.
  • Support in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Handle petty cash and update expense registers.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and assist in accounts payable and receivable management.
  • Help with payroll data preparation and maintain employee reimbursement records.
  • Support audits by providing required documents and explanations.
  • Maintain confidentiality and integrity of all financial data.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B. Com / M. Com).
  • 0–3 years of experience in accounting or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books).
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Good communication and organizational abilities.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.

Working Hours: 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday to Saturday

Salary Range: Based on performance in the interview

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
