The Accounts assistant is responsible for managing financial operations, maintaining accurate records, and supporting reporting, reconciliations, and audits. The role ensures timely collections, accurate documentation, and excellent financial service to internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate with clients regarding overdue payments and follow up to ensure timely collections.
- Maintain accurate financial records, process invoices, and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
- Handle bank deposits, transfers, and monthly/annual close activities.
- Assist with financial reporting, audits, tax filings, and compliance activities.
- Maintain petty cash and general ledger entries.
- Respond to employee, vendor, and client financial inquiries.
- Support administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and correspondence.
Requirements:
- Experience in accounting, finance, or related roles.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and software.
- Strong communication, accuracy, and confidentiality skills.
- Detail-oriented and organized with good problem-solving ability.
