Job Summary:

The Accounts Assistant supports daily accounting operations, maintains financial records, processes transactions, and assists the Accounts/Finance team in ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Record daily financial transactions in accounting software.
  • Assist in maintaining ledgers, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Prepare and process invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and purchase orders.
  • Support bank reconciliations, vendor payments, and expense tracking.
  • Assist with monthly financial closing and preparation of reports.
  • Ensure timely follow-up on outstanding dues and pending payments.
  • Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
  • Coordinate with internal departments for bill submissions and payment statuses.
  • Assist with audits, tax filings, and compliance requirements.
  • Provide administrative support to the accounts and management team as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field.
  • 1–2years of experience in accounts or finance roles (freshers also considered depending on company policy).
  • Good knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (Tally/ERP or similar).
  • Strong numerical ability, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.

  • Ability to work under deadlines and maintain confidentiality.
  • Team player with a positive and professional attitude.
