Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Accounts Officer with 1–2 years of relevant experience to manage daily accounting operations. The ideal candidate must be proficient in Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel for accurate data entry, reporting, and financial record maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records using Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel
- Perform daily accounting entries, vouchers, and ledger postings
- Manage accounts payable and receivable records
- Prepare invoices, payment schedules, and expense reports
- Reconcile bank statements and petty cash records
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial closing
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial records
- Support audits and provide required financial data when needed
- Coordinate with other departments for financial matters
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 1–2 years of proven experience in an accounting role
- Strong working knowledge of Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel
- Understanding of basic accounting principles
- Good analytical and numerical skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to meet deadlines and work independently
- Good communication and organizational skills
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with accounting software or ERP systems
- Familiarity with tax documentation and compliance
