- Financial Record Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including sales, purchases, and expenses. This involves recording financial transactions in accounting software and ensuring all entries are correctly documented.
- Processing Transactions: Handle accounts payable and receivable by processing invoices, verifying payments, and ensuring timely payments to suppliers. Monitor customer accounts and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Assisting with Reports: Prepare financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements, and assist in budget preparations by gathering financial data and analyzing past performance.
- Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the accounting department, including data entry, filing, and scheduling appointments. This may also involve communicating with clients and vendors regarding payment or invoice queries.
