Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Accounts / Business / Economics Teacher to join our academic team starting May 2026. The ideal candidate should have strong experience teaching the British Curriculum (IGCSE, AS & A Level) and must be highly skilled in solving past paper questions and clearing student doubts effectively. This is a full-time, in-office teaching position based in Sharjah.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach Accounts, Business Studies, and/or Economics as per the British Curriculum (IGCSE, AS & A Level).
  • Deliver concept-based and exam-oriented lessons.
  • Solve and explain past paper questions in detail during class and revision sessions.
  • Conduct regular doubt-clearing sessions and exam preparation classes.
  • Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, and revision materials aligned with syllabus requirements.
  • Assess student performance through tests, mock exams, and assignments.
  • Monitor academic progress and provide structured feedback to students.
  • Guide students on exam techniques, time management, and answer structuring.
  • Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning environment.
  • Coordinate with academic coordinators for curriculum planning and student support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, or related field.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience teaching the British Curriculum (IGCSE, AS & A Level).
  • Strong knowledge of syllabus content and past papers.
  • Must be able to confidently solve past paper questions and clear student doubts.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • Passionate about teaching and student success.
  • Must be willing to work from office (not remote).
  • Candidates currently residing in Sharjah preferred.
  • Spouse visa holders will be given preference.
  • Shortlisted candidates must be willing to attend a subject-based teacher assessment test (including past paper problem-solving).

Preferred Skills

  • Experience teaching private candidates or in a tuition center environment.
  • Ability to handle both group and one-to-one classes.
  • Familiarity with digital teaching tools (LMS, digital boards, Teams) is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Supportive and motivational teaching style.
