Accounts & Compliance Executive

Key Responsibilities
- Accounts Tasks
- Maintain day-to-day accounting records: voucher entry, ledgers, journals.
- Manage Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable: invoice processing, vendor payments, follow-ups, collection.
- Assist in bank reconciliations, petty cash, cash flow tracking.
- Help prepare financial statements, profit & loss, balance sheet, trial balance under guidance.
- Assist in monthly/quarterly closing.
- Compliance & Regulatory Tasks
- Ensure compliance with statutory laws: GST, TDS, PF, ESI, etc.
- Preparation & filing of tax returns and other statutory filings on time.
- Assist with internal and external audits – compile required documents.
- Maintain records & documentation needed for audits, legal compliance.
- Ensure company policies & accounting practices are aligned with legal/regulatory requirements.
- Reporting & Coordination
- Prepare periodic reports for management: outstanding receivables, payables, cash position.
- Coordinate with vendors, banks, auditors, tax consultants.
- Liaise with other internal teams (HR, Procurement, Operations) to get required data.
- Process Improvement & Documentation
- Suggest improvements in accounting / compliance workflows.
- Maintain accurate documentation & proper filing of all financial/compliance paperwork.
- Possibly help in implementation of accounting software / tools (if any).
- Miscellaneous
- Assist with ad-hoc tasks related to finance & compliance.
- Stay updated with changes in tax laws, compliance regulations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance (B.Com, M.Com etc.).
- Good understanding of accounting principles.
- Basic knowledge of relevant compliance: GST, TDS, PF/ESI, etc.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, etc.) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work under deadlines.
- Integrity, confidentiality in dealing with financial data.
Preferred / Good to Have
- Previous internship or part-time experience in accounts or compliance.
- Exposure to audits.
- Knowledge of legal / regulatory updates.
- Ability to multitask; good organizational skills.

Pay: ₹5,000.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month
