Accounts Department Head

We’re looking for an experienced Accounting Department Head to lead our financial operations. This role oversees reporting, budgeting, and audits while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic financial planning to support our organization’s goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• , managing the accounts department, reviewing systems, evaluating efficiency of systems and instituting accurate and effective systems. Overseeing the work and performance of the accounts team and having control on day-to-day accounting activities including purchase of raw materials, sales entries (PO/GRN), manufacturing and job work entries in Tally, stock management, accounts payable, accounts receivables, advance general ledger entries, payroll accounting, cash flow planning and management to ensure liquidity of operational funds and finalization of accounts.
• To keep a check on all the official records kept as per the various laws and acts such as etc. Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Supervise the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions and accounting of matters related to trust accounts.
• Hands-on experience on GST, TDS, Customs and Direct Taxes, and withholding taxes. frequent checking company’s position and records on various GOVT portals.
• Financial Statement preparation, Preparation of Budgets, forecast and Monthly MIS Reports.
• Interactions with Auditors and other similar consultants and professionals
• Proficiency and advanced skills in financial software applications like Tally, Advanced Excel.

Key Skills required:

1. Good Communication skills both spoken and written

2. Education Qualifications – B. Com., Semi Chartered Accountant

3. 5 to 10 years of experience in the garment/manufacturing industry.

4. Strong knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulations

5. Leadership and team management abilities

6. Problem solving and decision-making skills

7. Attention to detail and high level accuracy

8. Strong ethical and professional conduct

9. Advance knowledge of Tally Prime 9, accounting softwares, etc.

10. Knowledge of Regulatory Compliance

11. Advance Excel

Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
