About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented B.Com graduate to join our finance team as an Accounts Executive. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for an individual looking to build a strong foundation in accounting principles and gain hands-on experience in a professional work environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting operations and ensuring accuracy in financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Bookkeeping & Record Maintenance: Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers and journals.
  • Accounts Payable: Process vendor invoices, verify supporting documents, and prepare for payment. Assist in reconciling vendor statements.
  • Accounts Receivable: Generate and issue customer invoices, follow up on outstanding payments, and help manage customer accounts.
  • Bank Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure company records match bank statements.
  • GST & Statutory Compliance: Assist in the preparation and filing of GST returns and other statutory forms (like TDS) under guidance.
  • Payment Processing: Help in processing employee expense reimbursements and managing petty cash.
  • Data Entry & Reporting: Accurately enter financial data into Tally or other accounting software. Support the team in preparing basic financial reports and MIS.
  • Documentation & Filing: Maintain organized physical and digital filing systems for all financial documents.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) is mandatory.
  • 0 to 1 year of relevant experience. Freshers with a strong grasp of accounting fundamentals are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and Tally.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel (for creating spreadsheets, using Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn.
