An Accounts Executive in a manufacturing plant is responsible for managing daily financial operations, handling accounting records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards specific to the sector.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily financial transactions and maintain accurate accounting records.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Reconcile accounts and handle all banking transactions.
- Assist in budget creation, expense monitoring, and financial forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with industry-specific accounting standards and regulations.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Support internal and external audits by coordinating with auditors.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial operations.
- Conduct periodic audits and assist with external audit requirements.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing accounting role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, cost accounting, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (such as Tally, Focus) and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
- Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, strong organizational skills, and effective communication abilities.
- Familiarity with manufacturing industry regulations, tax laws, and internal auditing practices.
