Job Description: Accounts Executive (D2C Accounting)

Location: Chandigarh (CCR)

Company Overview: Theater is a dynamic and rapidly growing fashion start-up based in India. Our mission is to create India's best design-led, mass-premium western fashion company. At present, Theater specializes in footwear, stockings, bags and fragrances for women.

About Us: We are an aggressively growing company in the Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) space, looking to hire a talented Accounts Executive to join our finance team. If you have a solid accounting background, experience in D2C accounting, and knowledge of tax compliance, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle daily accounting tasks including journal entries, ledger management, and bank reconciliations.
• Ensure GST and TDS compliance and assist with related filings.
• Manage invoicing and payment processing for D2C transactions.
• Use Zoho Books (or similar software) for accounting and reporting.
• Perform reconciliations for bank accounts, vendors, and customers.
• Assist with audit preparation and monthly/quarterly financial reporting.

Qualifications:

• CA Finalist, CA Dropout, with completed articleship, or B. Com with 2+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of GST and TDS compliance.
• Familiarity with Zoho Books or similar accounting tools is an advantage.
• Previous experience in D2C accounting is a preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
