Job Title: Accounts Executive (Construction Field)

Location: Nungambakkam, Chennai
Working Hours: Monday to Saturday, 9:30 AM – 7:00 PM
Salary: ₹28,000 – ₹30,000 per month
Gender Preference: Male Candidates Only

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Accounts Executive with a minimum of 4 years of experience in the construction industry. The role involves managing payments, statutory compliances, bank reconciliations, and daily accounting activities with accuracy and timeliness.

Key Responsibilities:

Labour and Supplier Payments:

• Handle daily and weekly supplier and labor payments via NEFT, RTGS, and IMPS.
• Maintain clear and accurate payment records for all transactions.

Work Order Management:

• Verify, process, and close work order bills promptly.
• Coordinate with site teams for bill verification and approvals.

Statutory Compliance:

• Manage ESI and PF onboarding, exit formalities, and monthly payments.
• Ensure TDS deduction and payment for labour contractors as per statutory norms.

Banking & Accounting:

• Prepare and reconcile Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS) on a regular basis.
• Handle cheque clearances and ensure daily passbook entries are updated.

Reporting & Coordination:

• Coordinate with project and HR teams for all labour-related financial activities.
• Maintain up-to-date ledgers, records, and statements.
• Support month-end closing and reporting tasks.

Candidate Requirements:

• Education: B.Com / M.Com or equivalent degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience: Minimum 4+ years of accounting experience, preferably in the construction field.
• Skills:
• Strong understanding of NEFT/RTGS/IMPS transactions, BRS, TDS, ESI, and PF.
• Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and online banking.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
