Job Title: Accounts Executive – Real Estate Job Summary

The Accounts Executive will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations of the real estate company, including maintaining financial records, handling client and vendor accounts, ensuring statutory compliance, and supporting financial reporting related to property transactions and projects.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Finance

  • Maintain books of accounts including journal entries, ledgers, and bank reconciliations
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable for properties, clients, and vendors
  • Prepare invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers
  • Track rental income, sales proceeds, and commission income

Real Estate–Specific Duties

  • Maintain property-wise and project-wise accounts
  • Record sale agreements, booking advances, and customer payments
  • Track construction costs, maintenance expenses, and project budgets
  • Coordinate with sales and legal teams for financial documentation

Compliance & Taxation

  • Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other applicable statutory requirements
  • Prepare and file GST returns, TDS returns, and related reconciliations
  • Assist in audits and provide required financial data

Reporting & MIS

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Generate MIS reports on project profitability, cash flow, and outstanding receivables
  • Support management in budgeting and financial planning

Coordination & Support

  • Liaise with banks, auditors, tax consultants, and vendors
  • Maintain proper documentation of financial and property-related records
  • Support senior accountants and finance managers as required

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent
  • CA Inter / M.Com / MBA (Finance) preferred

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles
  • Experience with accounting software (Tally, ERP, or similar)
  • Understanding of real estate accounting practices
  • Proficiency in MS Excel
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Good communication and coordination abilities

Experience

  • 2–5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a real estate or construction company

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
