Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to be stationed at our client's premises. The successful candidate will handle day-to-day accounting operations, maintain financial records, and provide on-site support for all accounting and bookkeeping activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting & Bookkeeping:
- Maintain and update daily financial transactions in accounting software
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Record bank transactions, reconcile bank statements, and maintain cash books
- Prepare payment vouchers and process vendor payments
- Generate invoices and follow up on outstanding receivables
Financial Record Management:
- Maintain general ledger and subsidiary ledgers
- File and organize financial documents systematically
- Ensure all transactions are properly documented and recorded
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities
Reporting & Documentation:
- Prepare periodic financial reports as required by the client
- Generate management reports, summaries, and statements
- Maintain records in compliance with applicable regulations
- Assist in preparation of documentation for audits and tax filings
Administrative Support:
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal departments
- Handle petty cash management and expense reporting
- Support in budget preparation and expense tracking
- Perform other accounting-related tasks as assigned by the client or KLA management
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field (B.Com/BBA/ACCA/CA-Finalist)
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in accounting or bookkeeping
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Peachtree, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office Suite
- Understanding of basic accounting principles and practices
- Good communication skills in English and Urdu
