Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Executive to join our finance team at Zouma Consulting Services in Mohali. The ideal candidate will handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes.
- Prepare, verify, and process invoices, payments, and receipts.
- Reconcile vendor and customer accounts on a regular basis.
- Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on overdue accounts.
- Assist in month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records and documentation.
- Coordinate with internal departments to resolve billing or payment discrepancies.
- Support audits and provide necessary reports as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance or related field.
- 1–4 years of experience in accounting (AR/AP preferred).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and processes.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or similar).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively.
