Accounts & Finance Deputy Manager - 5pm to 2am

We are seeking a skilled Deputy Manager Accounts & Finance with a strong commerce background and hands-on experience in trading accounting to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate financial recording, reconciliation, and reporting in a fast-paced trading environment.

We are based in DHA Phase 6 Bukhari Commercials Karachi with office timings of 5pm to 2am Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day ledgers, including general ledger entries, trial balances, and detailed reconciliations such as bank statements.
• Manage the fixed asset register, including depreciation schedules, additions, disposals, and compliance reporting.
• Handle trading-specific accounting tasks like inventory valuation, cost of goods sold tracking, and revenue recognition.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with a focus on accuracy and audit readiness.
• Collaborate with trading operations to verify transactions and resolve discrepancies.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, or related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in trading accounting within a commerce or trading firm.
• Proficiency in ledger maintenance, general ledger management, trial balance preparation, bank reconciliations, and fixed asset register upkeep.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS) and trading regulations.
• Exposure to ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Oddo) is a significant plus.
• Familiarity with advanced Excel functions, financial modeling, and automation tools.
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet tight deadlines.
