Accounts & Finance Officer

We are hiring for Accounts & Finance Officer

Location: Karachi Division, Sindh.

Roles/Responsibilities:
Ensuring that all the financial events / transactions are recorded as per IAS or IFRS as applicable to the local company laws.
Deduction and deposit of taxes on various transactions as per prevalent regulations issued by federal and local authorities.
Creating staff payrolls and approving client or supplier payments.
Estimation of monthly Cash requirements.
Maintaining Trail Balance, General Ledger, Reconciliation etc.
Liaison with the tax consultant and Auditor.
Preparation of financial statements for internal and external users.
Periodic Audit of Fixed Assets, receivables etc.
Providing data to consultant for sales tax return filing (Federal and provincial), withholding tax statements filing, and salary statements filing, on monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
Identification of compliance risks.
Preparation of books (involves all the complete accounting and reporting cycle) of Multi currency Accounts for LLC on annual / as per Management Discretion basis.
Play a vital part in the company's financial management which includes all account reconciliations and reporting to necessary parties.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA or relevant professional certification is preferred.
A minimum of 4 to 5 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance roles, with a focus on financial reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis.
Proficient in accounting software and financial systems.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
Team management skills.
