Job Title: Accounts Executive
Industry: Construction / Engineering
Experience: 1–3 Years (Experience in a construction company is mandatory)
Location: Chennai
Job Responsibilities:
Handle day-to-day accounting operations, including entries, invoicing, and payments.
Maintain books of accounts as per company standards.
Prepare and update MIS reports, bank reconciliation statements, and cash flow statements.
Manage vendor bills, material invoices, and site-related expenses.
Coordinate with site teams for material consumption, petty cash, and project expenses.
Process E-way bills, purchase orders, and GST-related documentation.
Maintain records of receivables and payables.
Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
Liaise with auditors, banks, and vendors when required.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Skills Required:
Strong knowledge of Tally ERP / ERP software
Good understanding of GST, TDS, and basic taxation
Experience in construction industry accounting (mandatory)
Good communication and coordination skills
Proficiency in MS Excel
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
