Accounts Intern

We are seeking a dedicated Accounts Intern to support our day-to-day accounting operations.

This role is ideal for fresh candidates or those with limited experience who are currently pursuing a professional accounting qualification. You will work closely with our senior accountants, gaining hands-on experience in financial reporting, reconciliation, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

-Assist in the preparation of financial documents and reports.

-Support the team with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.

-Help in bank reconciliation and ledger maintenance.

-Assist with data entry and maintaining accurate financial records.

-Participate in the preparation for monthly and yearly closing of accounts.

-Assist with filing, documentation, and compliance with tax regulations.

-Perform any other ad-hoc accounting duties as assigned by the Manager/Supervisor.

Requirements:

-Education: Must be currently enrolled in or actively pursuing a professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CMA, CA, CIMA etc).

-Experience: Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Candidates with up to 6 months of relevant work experience are also welcome.

Skills:

-Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.

-Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially MS Excel).

-Familiarity with accounting software is a plus.

-Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding financial information.
