We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Manager to lead our accounting operations, strengthen financial controls, and support the company’s rapid growth.

Role Overview

The Accounts Manager will oversee day-to-day accounting activities, ensure accuracy in financial reporting, manage statutory compliance, and support strategic financial planning. This role requires strong analytical skills, hands-on accounting experience, and the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Accounting & Reporting

  • Manage end-to-end accounting processes including AP, AR, GL, payroll, and reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
  • Maintain accurate books of accounts and ensure timely month-end and year-end closures.
  • Monitor revenue recognition and subscription billing (if applicable).

Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, cash-flow projections, and variance analysis.
  • Track expenditure against budget and highlight deviations to management.

Compliance & Controls

  • Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory filings.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, regulatory bodies, and financial institutions.
  • Strengthen internal financial controls and streamline accounting systems/processes.

Cash Flow & Vendor Management

  • Oversee cash flow management, banking operations, and fund planning.
  • Manage vendor payments, negotiations, and reconciliation.
  • Ensure timely invoicing and follow-up for client payments.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with sales, operations, and leadership teams to provide financial insights.
  • Support business decisions with data-driven analysis and financial modeling.

Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
  • CA/Inter CA preferred (not mandatory).

Experience

  • 4–8 years of experience in accounting or financial management, preferably in SaaS/tech or real estate domains.
  • Strong understanding of Indian accounting standards, GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.

Skills

  • Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar).
  • Strong Excel skills and familiarity with financial modeling.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.
