About the role:
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager who can lead our accounting team, oversee client finances, and ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery. The ideal candidate should be strong in communication, knowledgeable in accounting standards, and comfortable managing multiple client accounts in a fast-paced environment.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and manage an internal team of accountants and interns.
- Allocate tasks, track daily progress, and ensure timely completion of all deliverables.
- Set up, streamline, and improve accounting processes, workflows, and SOPs.
- Review client books, ledgers, reconciliations, and ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Oversee GST, TDS, payroll processing, invoicing, and monthly closing activities for multiple clients.
- Prepare MIS reports, financial statements, cash flow summaries, and other client reports.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients—handle queries, calls, and provide financial updates professionally.
- Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, PT, and other statutory compliances.
- Coordinate with auditors, CAs, and external consultants for audits, reviews, and compliance support.
- Maintain complete documentation and ensure all client records are updated and properly organized.
- Conduct regular reviews of team work to maintain accuracy, quality, and adherence to SOPs
- Identify process gaps, provide training to the team, and implement corrective measures wherever required.
- Ensure all accounting tasks are completed as per DreamFirm’s standards, timelines, and quality expectations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting.
- 3–5years of accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards, GST, TDS, payroll, and compliance.
- Proficiency in Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar accounting software.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and client management skills.
- Ability to work independently, multitask, and manage a team effectively.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
