This role is for a highly experienced Male Accounts Manager who will independently manage and control the entire account’s function. The Accounts Manager is responsible for overseeing end-to-end accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timeliness of all financial transactions. The role requires strong domain expertise in manufacturing and construction accounts, with ability to manage daily accounts routines and lead the accounts team effectively.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Supervise and manage day-to-day accounting operations including payables, receivables, banking and cash flow, and general ledger.
- Ensure timely preparation and finalization of financial statements, MIS reports, and other management reports as required.
- Oversee project-wise and site-wise accounting for construction activities, including cost tracking and billing.
- Manage inventory accounting, job costing, and overhead allocation for manufacturing operations.
- Ensure statutory compliance related to GST, TDS, income tax, professional tax, PF, ESI and other applicable regulations.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors and ensure timely completion of audits and implementation of recommendations.
- Establish, review and strengthen internal controls, accounting systems, and standard operating procedures.
- Monitor vendor payments, customer collections, bank reconciliations, and ageing analysis, and take corrective actions where required.
- Liaise with banks, financial institutions, consultants, and statutory authorities as needed.
- Guide, mentor and supervise the accounts team to ensure productivity, discipline and adherence to timelines.
QUALIFICATION:
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce; additional professional qualifications such as CA Inter, CMA, MBA Finance, will be added advantage.
- 15-20 years of progressive experience in accounting with significant exposure to both manufacturing and construction sectors.
- Proven experience in handling complete accounts independently, including finalization and statutory compliance.
SKILL & COMPETENCIES:
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation and statutory compliances relevant to manufacturing and construction.
- Proficiency in accounting software (eg. Tally / ERP systems) and MS Excel.
- Excellent analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
