Job Description

A growing manufacturing and construction-based organization is seeking an experienced Accounts Manager to manage end-to-end accounting operations, statutory compliance, budgeting, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Tally ERP, GST compliance, cost accounting, and team management, preferably within a manufacturing or construction environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain complete books of accounts including journals, ledgers, and trial balances
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
• Manage and maintain accounts in Tally ERP including cost centres, inventory, job costing, payroll, and budgeting
• Handle GST returns, TDS, and other statutory compliances
• Coordinate with auditors and ensure audit readiness
• Prepare annual budgets and conduct variance analysis
• Monitor manufacturing/production costs and overheads
• Manage cash flow, receivables, payables, and reconciliations
• Process payroll including PF, ESI, and statutory deductions
• Supervise and guide junior accounting staff
• Establish and maintain internal controls

Qualifications

• B.Com or M.Com (Accounting / Finance preferred)
• Minimum 6–7 years of accounting experience
• Experience in manufacturing, construction, prefab, or modular industry preferred
• Strong working knowledge of Tally ERP (advanced modules)
• Good understanding of GST, taxation, and statutory compliance
