Greenvalley International School is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Manager to oversee the school’s financial operations, budgeting, compliance, and inventory management. The ideal candidate should have strong financial acumen, integrity, and the ability to maintain structured accounting systems within a school environment.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations
- Maintain accurate books of accounts
- Manage fee collection and reconciliation
- Monitor receivables and outstanding dues
- Prepare monthly financial statements and reports
- Coordinate payroll processing with HR
- Prepare budget forecasts and expenditure tracking
- Ensure cost control and financial discipline
Statutory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and tax requirements
- Coordinate audits (internal and external)
- Maintain documentation for financial inspections
- Ensure proper financial record-keeping
Budgeting & Financial Planning
- Prepare annual budget in consultation with management
- Monitor department-wise expenditure
- Provide variance analysis reports
- Support strategic financial planning
Inventory Management & Control
- Maintain inventory register for school assets
- Conduct periodic physical stock verification
- Monitor procurement and usage of materials
- Track lab equipment, IT assets, furniture and supplies
- Coordinate with Admin for asset tagging and tracking
- Ensure accountability for school property
Vendor & Procurement Management
- Manage vendor payments and documentation
- Compare quotations and ensure cost efficiency
- Maintain vendor database
- Monitor purchase order system
Required Qualifications
- B.Com / M.Com (CA Inter preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of accounting experience (school experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of accounting software (Tally/ERP/GoodBooks preferred)
- Knowledge of GST and financial compliance
- Strong analytical and reporting skills

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
