Job Overview
The Accounts Manager will oversee and manage the complete financial and accounting operations of a multi‑brand restaurant group. The role is responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, cost controls, inventory accounting, taxation, internal controls, and compliance across multiple restaurant outlets. This position plays a critical role in ensuring financial transparency, operational efficiency, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Control
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements including P&L, cash flow, and variance analysis
- Ensure accurate daily sales recording, POS reconciliation, and bank reconciliations
- Monitor revenue streams, discounts, wastage, and gross margin performance
- Develop and present financial dashboards and management reports with actionable insights
Budgeting & Cost Management
- Develop and monitor annual budgets for each restaurant outlet
- Analyze food cost, beverage cost, and operational expenses to ensure budget compliance
- Monitor recipe costing and menu profitability in coordination with Operations
- Identify and implement cost‑saving initiatives without compromising quality
Cash Flow, Payables & Receivables
- Oversee daily cash collections and ensure proper deposit controls
- Manage vendor payments, payroll, utilities, and operational liabilities
- Ensure timely reconciliation of suppliers and contractors
Inventory & Internal Controls
- Supervise inventory accounting for raw materials, packaging, and finished goods
- Implement strong stock control procedures to minimize pilferage and wastage
- Conduct periodic stock audits in coordination with operations
- Develop, maintain, and improve internal financial controls and SOPs
Taxation & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with Sales Tax, Income Tax, Withholding Tax, and other regulatory requirements
- Manage tax filings and coordinate with external tax consultants
- Handle tax notices and liaison with relevant authorities
Audit & Risk Management
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors
- Identify financial risks and implement corrective measures
- Strengthen financial systems to protect company assets
Qualifications & Experience
- CA Finalist / ACCA / CMA
- 5–6 years of relevant experience, preferably in the restaurant or hospitality sector
- Strong understanding of food cost control and multi‑outlet accounting
- Hands‑on experience with accounting software / ERP systems
- Excellent analytical, decision‑making, and leadership skills
- High level of integrity and cost‑conscious mindset
Pay: Rs180,000.00 - Rs220,000.00 per month
