We are looking for a Accounts Manager/Client Manager—a professional who combines deep technical accounting skill with exceptional client relationship management. You will be the trusted advisor and operational lead for your own portfolio of UK clients.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will own the end-to-end service delivery and relationship for your clients. Your core duties will be split between technical execution and client partnership:

Technical Accounting & Compliance Excellence:

  • Prepare and review financial statements, management accounts, and year-end files in full compliance with UK GAAP.
  • Oversee and ensure the accuracy of bookkeeping, VAT returns, payroll, and corporation tax computations for clients.
  • Guarantee timely and accurate submissions to HMRC and Companies House.
  • Advise clients on tax planning, compliance requirements, and financial best practices.
  • Implement and maintain robust internal controls and quality assurance processes.

Client Relationship & Portfolio Management:

  • Serve as the main day-to-day contact and trusted advisor for a dedicated portfolio of UK clients.
  • Report financial results to clients in the UK, ensuring clear and concise communication in English.
  • Build strong professional relationships through regular communication, scheduled meetings, and proactive support.
  • Handle client queries promptly and professionally, ensuring exceptional service standards.
  • Manage workflow and deadlines effectively to deliver outstanding service for your client portfolio.

Team Leadership & Operational Coordination:

  • Mentor and review the work of junior team members, providing technical guidance and training.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure seamless, high-quality service delivery.

You must have:

  • A professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CA, CIMA)
  • 3-5+ years of hands on experience in accounting with proven exposure to UK accounting standards tax (VAT/Corporation Tax), and compliance.
  • Direct experience managing a portfolio of clients in a professional services firm.
  • Expert proficiency in UK accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage.
  • Fluent, professional English communication skills (both verbal and written)—you will be in direct contact with UK clients.
  • An up-to-date understanding of HMRC regulations and filing deadlines.

Note :

We strictly follow UK base timings which will be from 9 AM to 5:30pm BST

(1:00-9:30 PM Pakistan Time)
