Job Timings: 2-11 PM.
Job Summary:
This is a UK based call center deals in Hajj & Umrah services for UK based clients. This is a onsite job. The Accounts Manager is responsible for managing the overall accounting operations of the organization. This includes supervising the finance team, maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, preparing financial reports, and supporting strategic planning through financial insights.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage and oversee daily operations of the accounting department.
2. Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports/statements.
3. Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
4. Coordinate and complete annual audits.
5. Ensure timely month-end and year-end close processes.
6. Manage accounts payable and receivable.
7. Supervise bank reconciliations, ledger reconciliations, and journal entries.
8. Maintain compliance with all financial regulations and company policies.
9. Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
10. Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies.
11. Develop internal controls to safeguard company assets.
12. Train and manage accounting staff and assign tasks as needed.
13. Support the finance team in process improvement and automation initiatives.
14. Tax filing (FBR & PRA).
Qualifications & Skills:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s or CA/CPA preferred).
2. 5+ years of accounting/finance experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
3. Solid understanding of accounting principles (IFRS).
4. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, QuickBooks, or ERP systems).
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. High attention to detail and accuracy.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
9. Preferred Experience:
10. Experience in [Industry, e.g., manufacturing, services, retail].
11. Knowledge of taxation laws and statutory compliance.
12. Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost.
