Specific duties and responsibilities

  • Establishes internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactions and budget preparation.
  • Oversees preparation of business activity reports, financial forecasts, and annual budgets.
  • Oversees the production of periodic financial reports; ensures that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or financial reporting standards.
  • Responsible for tax planning throughout the fiscal year; files annual corporate tax return.
  • Audits accounts to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations; coordinates with outside auditors and provides needed information for the annual external audit.
  • Presents recommendations to management on short- and long-term financial objectives and policies.
  • Provides financial analysis with an emphasis on capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations.
  • Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements.
  • Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned
  • Preparing accounts and tax returns.
  • Administering payrolls and controlling income and expenditure.
  • Auditing financial information.
  • Compiling and presenting reports, budgets, business plans, commentaries and financial statements
  • Analyzing accounts and business plans

Authority

Overseeing and Handling the Accounting Department and coordinates all activities to ensure enough resources on hand. Plan Payments schedules, estimate costs and prepare budgets to ensure workflow meets required deadlines.

Competency Criteria: Accounts Officer

· Bachelor or Master Degree in Accounting or Finance.

· 1 to 3 years’ experience required.

· Certified Public Accountant designation preferred.

· Project Management Skills should be excellent.

· Leadership and Interpersonal skills should be good.

· Supervision and reporting skills should be excellent.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs42,000.00 - Rs60,000.00 per month
