Accounts & Operations Coordinator – Freight Forwarding

What You'll Be Doing

Accounts & Finance

• Managing day-to-day accounting tasks including invoicing, billing, and payment follow-ups
• Preparing and sending client invoices accurately and on time
• Tracking accounts receivable and payable
• Maintaining financial records and supporting month-end reconciliation
• Coordinating with clients and vendors on outstanding payments and financial queries

Operations & Coordination

• Coordinating with shipping lines, customs brokers, transporters, and warehouses to ensure smooth cargo movement
• Tracking shipments and proactively updating clients and internal teams
• Preparing shipping documents, job files, and operational reports
• Liaising between sales, operations, and finance teams to ensure seamless workflow
• Handling customer queries and resolving day-to-day operational issues efficiently

What We're Looking For

• 1–3 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or a related industry
• Solid understanding of freight forwarding operations (air, sea, or land)
• Hands-on experience with invoicing and basic accounting
• Strong communication skills — written and verbal
• Highly organized with great attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy environment
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel especially); experience with freight or accounting software is a plus
