Accounts Payable Administrator

As an Accounts Payable Admin, you will be integral to maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the accounting team. Reporting to the Assistant Manager, your role will encompass core skills such as bookkeeping, communicating with vendors and admin tasks within the office. You will handle accounts payable and assist in weekly bill paying, leveraging your proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Your organization abilities and strong data entry skills will enhance communication and efficiency within the organization, ensuring timely and precise financial reporting. Hours: About 30 hours/week, Monday - Friday | 9am-3:30pm

We require someone that is efficient, practices good time management, self-disciplined, and someone that posses the quality of self-management.

Must be a fast independent quick learner who enjoys a friendly fast paced work environment.

Skills to have:

  • Proficient in Excel is a must!- Almost all our business currently operates in Excel
  • Must be proficient in Windows
  • Must have (AP) accounts payable experience
  • Basic accounting
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Hard worker
  • Independent
  • Professional phone etiquette
  • Must be able to multi-task and think effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of commercial real estate is a bonus but can be taught
  • Bilingual *bonus but not required
  • Must be patient, honest and trustworthy
  • Must be flexible, detail oriented and reliable
  • Above all, common sense and ability to self teach are a must.

Expected Job Tasks but are not limited to:

  • Basic understanding of accounts payable concepts. (working in Excel spreadsheets)
  • A/P: Weekly billing (Organizing, sorting, processing and recording invoices, checking for accuracy, duplicates etc.)
  • A/P: Communicate with vendors and follow up when needed on any billing questions or issues.
  • Assist in opening, closing, or transferring utilities
  • Identify and resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Accurate data entry skills and attention to detail
  • Answering phone calls and emails for the billing department

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
