Position Summary:

The role of an Accounts Payable Analyst involves managing the financial aspects of a company's payable accounts. Responsibilities include processing invoices, verifying accuracy, and ensuring timely payments to vendors. The Analyst reconciles accounts, addresses discrepancies, and maintains positive relationships with vendors. Compliance with company policies and financial regulations is crucial, and the Analyst may contribute to process improvements. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and Process accounts payable transactions to ensure control and accounting policy are met.
  • Review Accounts Payable ledger and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Identify and report variances in purchase order invoicing.
  • Present invoices for payment.
  • Responsible for reconciling assigned accounts and vendors.
  • Prepare management reports.
  • Assist in preparing monthly accruals.
  • Assist employees with travel expense reporting using Concur, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely submission.
  • Track and reconcile travel expenses to ensure proper allocation and adherence to budgetary guidelines.
  • Assist leadership with research and reporting needs.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Proficiency in using Concur or other travel management platforms.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and proficiency in accounting software are essential for success in this role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Education, Certifications, and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
  • A minimum of two years of experience using ERP software.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.

The anticipated salary range for this role is $41,200 - $51,5000 annually, based on factors such as experience, skills, required location, and available funding. This ranges reflects the base salary and does not include any possible bonuses or benefits. Actual compensation may vary and will be determined during the interview process and in accordance with applicable laws.
