Role Description
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Associate for a full-time position. The Accounts Payable Associate will be responsible for processing invoices, managing payment cycles and assisting with payment processing, verifying financial records, supporting month end close, and maintaining excellent communication with vendors and team members.
Key Responsibilities

Process vendor invoices accurately and timely

Match invoices to purchase orders, receiving document and supporting documentation

Coordinate with various departments to research and resolve pricing and other billing discrepancies

Review coding and approvals for accuracy and compliance

Prepare and process weekly ACH, wire, and check payments

Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies

Maintain vendor records including W-9s and payment information

Respond to vendor inquiries professionally and promptly

Assist with month-end close and accounts payable reconciliations

Support annual audit requests and documentation

Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls

Assist with expense report review and reimbursement processing

Assist with annual 1099 reporting during year end.

Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications
-
1+ years experience in accounts payable required / 3+ years experience in accounts payable preferred

Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred

Strong analytical and problem solving skills and a keen eye for detail

Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
