Summary/Objective
The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for providing excellent customer service by receiving, processing, verifying, entering, and reconciling vendor invoices, processing various accounts payable transactions, processing payments, adhering to proper financial controls, and assisting the Accounts Payable Supervisor, other accounting staff and company personnel as needed.

This position has no supervisory responsibility.
Work Environment
This job operates mainly in a clerical office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
Physical Demands
This is largely a sedentary role; however, some lifting, bending, stooping, and standing is necessary. Mental alertness and long periods of concentration.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Travel, evening, and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
