We’re looking for a detail-driven Accounts Payable Clerk who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in accuracy, organization, and keeping financial operations running smoothly. This role is essential to supporting the financial health of our organization and ensuring vendors, employees, and partners are paid accurately and on time.

In this role, you’ll take ownership of the accounts payable process and support broader financial operations:
Accounts Payable & Financial Processing
- Process invoices, credits, and payments through accounting software
- Manage incoming invoices (mail, email, vendor portals) and scanning workflows
- Issue payments via checks (warrants) and electronic methods
- Maintain vendor records, W-9s, and issue 1099s
- Complete Positive Pay files and required reporting
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain organized, accurate financial records (electronic and paper)
- Ensure compliance with internal policies (including expense reimbursements)
- Support audit requests and year-end financial processes
Additional Financial Support
- Assist with payroll processing (timesheets, deductions, garnishments, retirement reporting)
- Verify and process daily cash deposits
- Handle miscellaneous accounts receivable invoicing
- Maintain trust fund records and deposits
Support reporting functions, cost tracking, and data logs
Position Highlights
- Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm, with an option to start the day earlier if preferred

- HS diploma or equivalent
- One year of experience in a business-related field with emphasis on accounting, payroll, or accounts payable
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of accounts payable processes and financial recordkeeping
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- High level of integrity and confidentiality
