To strengthen our finance team in Muscat, we are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to support daily accounting operations.

Role Overview

The Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible for processing invoices, managing vendor payments, and ensuring compliance with financial policies. This role requires accuracy, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments.
• Verify accuracy of invoices and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain accounts payable records and documentation.
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions and prepare reports.
• Collaborate with finance and procurement teams to streamline processes.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
• Assist with month-end closing and audits.
• Provide support to the finance team as needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial systems.
• Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software (ERP experience preferred).
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is a strong advantage.

Pay: Up to RO950.000 per month
